THe IW5442-05 is a special watch. Based on the Portuguese F.A. Jones, this version features a special movement. Building on the ancient art of skeletonizing, the movement has first been stripped down to its essentials. After the removal of all unnecessary bits of metal, the parts leftover have been lavishly decorated. The end result? An almost translucent movement, mesmerizing to behold - a little mechanical opera.
The intricate movement is paired with the classic Portuguese case, whose clean and sober lines most certainly do not distract from the beauty of its beating heart.
