One of the highlights of this collection was the Portofino, which took its inspiration from the 1980's 'Spiegelei' ref. 5251. While long sold out, we were lucky to be able to procure one of these for one of our esteemed clients - kindly assisted by the IWC headquarters. The IW5448-03 has a rose gold case that measures a generous 46mm across. It is powered by a handwound movement with small seconds and moonphase indicator - now on the 6:00 and 12:00 position, instead of the 3:00 and 9:00 of its predecessor.
