New: IWC Portofino Hand-Wound Pure Classic IW5111

After last Montblanc, now it's up to IWC to introduce a new model: the Portofino Hand-Wound Pure Classic. IWC first introduced a Pure Classic model in the Portuguese line a few years back. It represented the Portuguese stripped down to its essentials - two hands and a clean dial. For 2014/2015, the next line to receive this treatment is the Portofino. Honestly, the Pure Classic makeover suits the Portofino very well. The case is still 43.5mm, but somehow looks smaller. While the movement is essentially the same, the power-reserve indicator has been moved to the back, keeping the dial side as clean as possible without affecting basic readability. The IWC Portofino Pure Classic is available with either a rose gold or stainless steel case. We're not yet sure which one of the two is our favorite...
