[caption id="attachment_4356" align="alignnone" width="584"]Bell & Ross BR 01 Skull Bronze Bell & Ross BR 01 Skull Bronze[/caption]   Bell & Ross introduced the first 'Skull' version of its BR 01 back in 2009. For the BaselWorld 2015 fair however Bell & Ross re-imagined this now-iconic watch, added a healthy dose of Steampunk and gave us the BR 01 Skull Bronze. As with the earlier skull watches, the dial and glass frame a skull painted on the dial - in this case done in photoluminescent black paint. The crossbones are drawn from the signature screws on the bezel. The caseback is made of titanium; the strap is subjected to a specific tanning technique, creating a worn and patina'd effect. And you know what? Although highly polarizing and perhaps controversial, the Skull Bronze has proved to be one of the most popular releases of this year - right up there with the Speedmaster Silver Snoopy.
