SevenFriday V1-01[/caption]
It's in!
Well, actually, we have had the V1 and V2 for a while now, but with the relocation of our Ace Online HQ we didn't have the time (and space) yet to take a proper photograph. This weekend we finally got to set-up our new photo studio and here it is - our first pic of the new SevenFriday V1-01!
For the V-Series, SevenFriday developed a completely new case. Its unusual, a-symetrical case hides a neat trick: it features a clever quick-change system for the strap. Quick word on the case-back before we'll tackle the dial: it's just as cool. It displays information on where the watch originated and features an NFC-chip to ensure the watch's originality.
And than there's the dial. Layered like we've seen on earlier SevenFriday watches, yet very different. Time is displayed through what the brand calls an 'additioner - the centrally mounted disc with the '+0', '+4' and '+8'. As it moves past the 120* arch, it indicates the hours: 0 to 4 with the '+0' become 4 to 8 with the '+4' et cetera. Simple right? Minutes are indicated through a conventional hand, while for the seconds SevenFriday pulled a trick similar to that of the hours. Last but not least, a day/night indicator is found at 10:00.
