As stated in our article on the Big Pilot Heritage models, 2016 is IWC's year of the pilot watch. And while that little write-up features one watch with a diameter of 48mm and another one measuring 55 across, for today we're jetting off to the other side of IWC's Pilot's Watch universe. Enter the all new, 2016, Pilot's Watch Automatic 36!
As suggested by its name, the Pilot's Watch Automatic 36 has a case of 36mm, making it a full 4mm smaller than the regular Mark XVIII. It hints of both older pilot's watches as well as the midsize pilot's of a less distant past. The polished case gives it an elegant twist that sets it apart from is larger brother.
