The IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII IW327002 is an SIHH 2016 version of IWC's iconic pilot's watch. It is fitted with a silver-plated dial and a black Santoni leather strap.
As noted loud and clear, 2016 marks the year of the Pilot's Watch for IWC. While the Schaffhausen-based manufacturer introduced a number of spectacular and complicated new models, perhaps the most highly anticipated is the successor to the Mark XVII. In this post, we're introducing a whole new configuration: the IWC Pilot's Watch Mark XVIII IW327002.
Reference IW327002 (or IW3270-02) features a silver-plated dial with black numerals & hands, which make for a highly legible watch with optimal contrast. Lighter dials in the 'regular' Mark-series are somewhat of a rarity, - they've mostly been reserved for fancy versions like the Spitfire & Father and Son. However, when looking at this new Mark XVIII, we're glad IWC chose to bring it back in a more instrumental version: it looks great!
