The name aquamarine is derived from the Latin word for seawater, and the stone is one of my favorite stones for Spring / Summer. The vivid blue color certainly has me dreaming about warm and sunny skies.The seemingly symmetrical design is offset by pave diamonds on just one of the four aquamarine settings. I often think that symmetrical designs in jewelry are too predictable, but the pave diamonds can please those who love symmetry or asymmetry.
