Since 2015, Oris has brought back the Sixty-Five model with roaring success. At Basel World this year, Oris unveiled the newest version of the Divers Sixty-Five, now known as the Oris Divers Sixty-Five 42mm. While the 1965 original was produced using a hexalite crystal, the newest Divers Sixty-Five watches have a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside, giving easy legibility. The diameter has been enlarged from 40mm to 42mm; both sizes are suitable for a practical sports watch. The 42mm version has what we like to call an ‘Ace Blue’ dial.The bubble like form of the crystal with the blue dial are reminiscent of being on a diving excursion.
