Early October Oris introduced a special edition of its highly popular Divers Sixty-Five: the Movember Edition. Today we had it in our studio for a photoshoot.

The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Movember Edition marks the brand's role as Official Watch Partner of the Movember Foundation, a charity organization aimed at raising both awareness and funds for men's health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention. Since its beginning in 2003 it has grown out to become a global movement, through its eponymous Movember Challenge but also through local events and meaningful partnerships such as with the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. For the Movember Foundation, Oris created one of the most exciting variations of the Divers Sixty-Five yet. It pairs the 40mm case of the original version with the dial lay-out of the 42mm variation - a combination of features that many collectors have been wishing for. Furthermore, the indexes and print are done in a pink-gold hue for a vintage 'gilt' like appearance. Movember logo's are found engraved on the case back and one of the loops of the NATO strap, as well as stamped onto both ends of the leather strap. There's no extra branding on the dial. Due to the highly domed sapphire glass, the Divers Sixty-Five is notoriously hard to shoot. The Movember Edition was no different...
