The Tudor Heritage Chrono was introduced in 2010. It was the first watch for which Tudor looked back into its rich archives - and its been a huge success since. In front of our camera today is reference M70330N-0005, which we have in stock at Ace & Spyer at Koningsplein 1, Amsterdam.

The Tudor Heritage Chrono is a striking watch. It is inspired by the Oysterdate Chrono of the 1970's and as such it displays the bold shapes and colors of that decade. The original is now a sought-after watch that commands respectable prices. Nearly all of them feature the grey dial with black subs. In reverse colors it is rare as hen's teeth - and that's an understatement. In any case the Home Plate (a nickname inspired by the shape of the hour markers) with revolving 12-hour bezel never made it past the prototype stage. It wouldn't be until the launch of the Monte Carlo (a nickname inspired by the roulette-like sub dial scales) that we'd see this type of bezel in production models.
