Omega now releases the Constellation Master Co-Axial in 39 and 36mm. 'Timepieces for men' according to the brand, though I'm sure many ladies will appreciate the sturdier sizes too. The caliber 2500 powering the earlier (123.xx.xx.xx.xx.xxx) generation has been replaced by calibre 8800 (or 8801). Price wise, the collection starts with a stainless steel model on leather strap. On the other end of the spectrum are the gold-on-gold (yellow or Sedna) heavy-hitters . Of course, there's loads of options in between.
With all the hype surrounding stainless steel sports watches, especially those with integrated bracelet styles, the Constellation represents a viable and forthright alternative to some of the newer options that have presented themselves in the past year. The Constellation isn't some forced attempt at riding this wave - rather the style has been in continuous production since 1982. This latest generation represents the best Omega has to offer in terms of design, tech and finish.
The Omega Constellation Co-Axial Master Chronometer 39 & 36mm are available for pre-order in our eBoutique.
