The TAG Heuer Carrera CBK221B.FC6479 was introduced in January of 2020 as a limited edition of 1860 pieces, celebrating the 160th anniversary of TAG Heuer. It has the case as first seen on the Fujiwara limited edition, but pairs it with a stunning silver dial inspired by those found on the very first Carrera watches. At 39mm the case feels perfectly balanced - larger than the originals, without going overboard. The box-shaped sapphire crystal is another nice touch, as it evokes the feel of the plexi glass of days gone by. Inside ticks the self-winding caliber 02, a TAG Heuer in-house movement with column-wheel operated chronograph and an 80-hour power reserve. Although January 2020 feels like a life time ago, we managed to get our hands on one of the very last remaining pieces of this stunning limited edition.
