Longines brings a new black dial to the Heritage Classic Sector Dial, plus a beads-of-rice style bracelet.
The Longines Heritage Classic Sector Dial was introduced in late 2019. Its combination of 1930's looks with modern specifications has since proven to be a big hit. In addition to the 2019 silver dial, Longines now brings a black dial to the table - and we're totally in love!
Much like its vintage source of inspiration, the dial of the Longines Heritage Classic Sector Dial features different zones, each with a distinct finish. The center is matt in order to provide optimal contrast with the polished silver hands. The hour circle has a circular brushed finish, which can appear either black or anthracite depending on the light and angle. Finishing it off is a ridged small second scale at 6 o'clock.
Like its silver-dialed sibling, the Longines Heritage Classic with black sector dial has a stainless steel case of 38.5mm, which is topped-off by a box glass sapphire crystal that mimics the shape of the plexi glasses of days gone by. Inside ticks a self-winding movement with silicon balance spring and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. This watch is available with either a cognac leather strap, or a new beads-of-rice style bracelet.
