Omega expands the Speedmaster Moonwatch collection with new offerings in 'Moonshine' gold. The Speedmaster Moonwatch is now available in all three of Omega's proprietary 18k gold alloys; Canopus, Sedna, and Moonshine gold.
The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Moonshine Gold is new for 2022, but it is not the first time this material is used for the Moonwatch. It was first seen on the 2019 Apollo 11 50th Anniversary. This coincidentally was one of the first watches to use the updated caliber 3861. Moonshine Gold is a proprietary alloy that offers a light yellow colour. It is also highly resistant to fading over time. In addition to gold, it includes silver, copper and palladium for colour and stability. The tachymeter insert is made of ceramic, and sapphire crystals are fitted both front and back.
For 2022, the Omega Speedmaster Moonshine Gold is available with two different dials. The first is a green PVD dial with sunburst finish, whilst the second is crafted from Moonshine gold and has blackened sub dials. Both can be fitted with a matching Moonshine Gold bracelet. Alternatively, there's the option of an alligator strap for the green dial, or a rubber strap for the gold dial.
The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Moonshine Gold is available for pre-order in our eBoutique, where you fill find all new 2022 watches in one place.
