In its short existence, the British watch brand Bremont has built up an impressive portfolio of special-order projects created for combat personnel from all over the world. In 2019 the brand even announced its partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), which made Bremont the sole luxury watch producer allowed to legitimately use the signs, symbols and Heraldic Badges of all three services of Her Majesty's Armed Forces. The resulting watches in the Armed Forces collection are inspired by the 'Dirty Dozen' watches commissioned for the British Army during World War II, and proudly sport the heraldic badges on their case backs.
For 2022, Bremont is expanding the collection with the addition of the Argonaut Bronze. As per its name, the Argonaut Bronze has a CuSn8 bronze case. Bronze has been the metal of choice for maritime applications for centuries, which makes it the perfect material for this military dive watch. Over time the case will develop a patina unique to the wearer.
The 2022 Bremont Argonaut Bronze is available with either a black or a 'Sargasso' blue dial. Both feature SuperLuminova indexes to ensure optimum legibility both above and below the waves. The case back is stainless steel, and the strap is made of sail cloth.
