Within the larger Octo collection, the Octo Roma is the brand's do-it-all watch. Stylish, practical, robust. And with the new 2023 Octo Roma, Bulgari underscores this fact with a couple of sophisticated updates that truly make this watch the perfect daily partner.
The 2023 Bulgari Octo Roma has a case that displays a combination of angles and curves, said to inspired by the Basilica of Maxentius, The octagon is still very much present, the overall look is vastly different compared to that of the Finissimo. This is mostly due to the round bezel. For this latest version, the brush pattern of said bezel is now radial rather than concentric - a small but important tweak. Also new is the addition of the crown guards. These shield the [screw down] crown from impacts. But the most important change is in the dial. Gone is the sunburst pattern, and in is a Clous de Paris finish. This new dial radically changes the character of the Octo Roma. It's now matte rather than shiny, but the three-dimensional pattern ensures its anything but dull. Last but not least -and invisible but highly practical- is the addition of a quick-change system for the bracelet and straps.
The 2023 Bulgari Octo Roma Automatic is powered by caliber BVL 191, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. It can be admired through the see-through case back. The watch is delivered with both a stainless steel bracelet as well as a rubber strap. Additional straps in calf and alligator are available on request.
